“Fifteen. She’ll be sixteen in a little over ten days,” Chu Qichen replied.
“Ah, that’s the rebellious phase. Changes are normal. As an older brother, you should take good care of her,” Wu Renjun said, raising his wine glass in a toast. Chu Qichen clinked his glass against it.
Rebellious phase. Chu Qichen had heard the term before. He himself had never gone through one, being an only child with no exposure to rebellious behavior.
So An Wen was in her rebellious phase—no wonder she’d changed so much. She used to barely speak to him, and now she was yelling at him.
