The series features battle scenes, and Tang Zhiming insists on real locations and actors, resulting in massive investments.
An Wen's portrayal of Lin Wanting in the early stages is that of a pure and delicate noble lady. Her costumes and hair accessories are predominantly jade-green and pink, with specially designed makeup. Unlike the thick, straight eyebrows common in other dramas, hers are slender and willow-like, exuding classical charm.
The moment An Wen appears in character, everyone is stunned by her beauty, much to Tang Zhiming's frustration. With An Wen playing Lin Wanting, finding an actress suitable for the role of Li Qingyi proves extremely difficult.
