2218 - Shocks
*Ding-ding-ding*
A shockwave rippled through Robin's Soul Domain.
The power Robin had placed within that hammer was terrifying—a brute force filled with rage, as if he was trying to shatter his own Soul Domain with his bare hands.
All the Spirit Creatures raised their heads, gazing toward that spot with caution, anticipation, and a hint of fear. In complete silence, they could feel their master's anger.
But that silence and stillness were broken by a golden radiance that filled the entire Soul Domain—a beam that obliterated the hammer as if it had never existed.
*Oooooohhhhmmm...*
Outside—
Robin clutched his forehead. "Arrgh!!!"
His forehead began to crack, and golden light poured out, as if it had been trapped inside and had finally overflowed.
The golden light seemed intent on harming Robin, on burning his very forehead.
After taking its full time outside, the sphere of light transformed into a humanoid figure made of light. Then, that figure extended its hand and grabbed Robin by the neck. "How dare you?"
"Ghh!?" Under the weight of the oppressive aura and the harsh gaze of The All-seeing God, Robin forgot his anger for a moment... This was the first time he had seen him like this.
"Do you dare summon me in this manner, you thing?!" The All-seeing God slowly pulled Robin closer. "The last time I checked on your status was a century ago. You hadn't completed your second mission, nor were you close to finishing your first. So why summon me now, and in this way?"
The All-seeing God continued drawing Robin closer until their noses nearly touched. "Do you find the two missions too difficult? Or do you think you've become important enough to challenge me? Perhaps you believe my threats were empty, that I wouldn't truly cast you into Hell?"
Then he stared into Robin's eyes as if trying to pierce through them. "Just say the word, and I will strip you of your Golden Honor and cast you into Hell forever like a stray dog. What's the problem with losing a thousand years? I can always start over!"
The All-seeing God was clearly marked by a destructive stubbornness.
Until this moment, Robin had treated him with fear and respect as a mysterious being, but suddenly he was being so insolent? How could he control him in the future if he let him do as he pleased?
"K..." Robin didn't try to resist. With all his strength—strength that rivaled an Ancestor beast—he didn't even attempt to fight back.
He only raised his finger and pointed toward the direction behind The All-seeing God.
"Hah?" The All-seeing God shook Robin again. "Do you think I care about your problems or your surroundings? If I decide you're guilty right now, I'll kill everyone present."
After he finished speaking, the All-seeing God couldn't help but glance slightly above Robin's head. "...Where exactly is this, anyway?" Then he began looking around, scrutinizing the place, since his shard didn't need to breathe or expend energy to instantly know its location. "...Are you outside The Shell?"
The All-seeing God finally caught sight of the nearby battle between Arkalon and the Space Beasts, and his furious expression instantly froze into something resembling a statue.
Then he quickly turned toward the direction Robin had pointed.
There, he found the dark-skinned female staring at him.
Her expression was bad, very bad, but her hands were near her waist, her head tilted slightly downward, and she remained silent.
"Executioner?!" The All-seeing God's manifestation exclaimed in surprise, then turned back to look at Robin. "What have you done?!"
Then he loosened his grip on Robin's neck to allow him to speak.
"Cough, cough..." Robin looked into the All-seeing God's eyes, raising his voice. "Who exactly is she, and what's your relationship with her? Why do you talk about Universe B-14 and say things as if she knows you? Who are you really, and what have you dragged me into?!"
"Tsk." The All-seeing God's manifestation pushed Robin away dismissively, as if he were a child asking for candy at the wrong time.
He then turned to look at the Executioner. "What is your name and rank? And what exactly happened here?"
"...I am called Tanuya, rank Observer Executioner." The Executioner tried to lift her head slightly. "Your Excellency's candidate breached the Shell and was dealing with the Reapers as if they were a source of meat and crystals. When I arrived, he and his followers were outside the Shell fighting with ease... Punishment is necessary."
"You did... what?!" The All-seeing God turned to Robin, shouting, "I told you to become a trivial Behemoth and deal with a failed candidate, but you went and punctured the Shell? Are you trying to overstep my tasks?!"
"What's done is done... The Master Law of Causality is what prompted me to open the Shell. The rest was personal initiative." Robin looked down for a moment, then pointed at the All-seeing God. "Secondly, don't change the subject. You—"
"Shh!!" The All-seeing God waved for Robin to be silent, but cast one last glance at him, reviewing his words about the Causality's nomination...
He then turned back to look at the Executioner. "A new punishment cannot be imposed. The Executioner before you acted with excessive cruelty. Universe B-14 is no longer worthy of B classification because of his reckless actions. The humans there are still trying to discover a way to train with spirit even now, and they still rely on the Blood of the Reapers for training!"
Then he waved his hand, "This universe is no longer even worthy of G-rank classification now, and we only have two million years left. Another punishment cannot be allowed; it cannot sink any further. The dignity of this once-great universe must be preserved!"
"...." The Executioner averted her gaze from the All-seeing God's manifestation and pointed her Scepter at Robin, "Is this someone from a G-rank universe, in your esteemed opinion?"
"..?" The All-seeing God turned back to look at Robin, and this time, he took in the full picture.
Ten purple stars, a legendary spirit creature, and he held an ancient pen.
Four symbols of four Master Laws, one of which had reached the fourth grade!
And that eye...
All of this for someone who had not yet completed his first thousand years of life.
The All-seeing God narrowed his eyes as he stared at that eye for a few moments, then slowly leaned toward Robin, "...Do you think you can be arrogant with me now because you've become strong? That you can do whatever you want because I can't do without you?"
Robin waved his hand, "I just—"
"Silence!" the All-seeing God shouted at him.
Then he cast one last glance at the colossal eye above.
He turned back to face the Executioner, "...The boy will not be killed, and Universe B-14 will not be punished. There's no need to mention further reasons... Name your price."
