Chapter 2204

2204 - Robin's True Power?

Hmm...

A vast number of Spirit Gates of varying sizes began to open one after another.

Seven of them were immensely massive, each one seeming ready to disgorge a small planet, and around each of these were a number of smaller gates. Yet, these were not small either; each gate was comparable in size to the moon. As for the third tier, there were thousands of small gates, each the size of a building!

"Oooohhh–!!"

A terrifying sound emanated from the central gate, and then something moving appeared from behind it.

*Bam*

Two enormous palms gripped the sides of the gate, each palm bearing three giant claws. Then, a head emerged from the middle...

A head of irrational enormity, long like a horse's head, with six pairs of nostrils and a colossal mouth filled with teeth, each tooth resembling one of the Nehari Mountains, and four indescribably huge, pointed horns!

*Creak*

That monstrous beast pushed itself forward with its claws, revealing its body, covered in muscles and scales, and its eight limbs, full of destructive claws. Each limb moved independently in a different direction in a terrifying manner... Overall, it looked like a wild, bald deer, but that description greatly understates the horror of its appearance and aura!

"Impossible..." Blokan took two steps back. "This spirit creature... Is this a young space beast?!" He then shouted at Robin, "Your spirit creatures are damned space beasts?!"

"Not all of them." Robin showed a smile.

"This..." Althera stepped back slightly. "I remember that thing..."

"You what?" Blokan flinched. "What do you mean you remember it!"

"It's one of the space beasts that invaded the Gate when it first opened. It was the strongest one in that wave. Seventy imperial guards and a squad leader had to cooperate to bring it down that day." Althera furrowed her brows and turned to Robin. "But it was just a nascent space beast!"

"The young grow up. Will it stay nascent forever? That's discrimination." Robin chuckled.

Althera wasn't wrong. Robin had indeed captured this space beast on the very first day, then returned to capture the strongest one from each subsequent wave.

Dealing with those things required absolute focus and full awareness dedicated to decoding its primordial soul in a way that wouldn't damage his soul domain.

The primordial souls of space beasts were somewhat special...

It does not carry a massive amount of units, nor does it hold long memories… It only carries information about the creature itself—a great deal of it—information that makes it a powerful spiritual creature, a perfect spiritual creature as if it were born that way.

After absorbing that information into the domain and transforming it into a spiritual creature, Robin's role begins: to vastly expand the domain to accommodate the size of the new space beast. Then comes the role of Neri and Evergreen, using their abilities on it to make it stronger.

By the start of the training… Robin could no longer focus on absorbing a single new one.

But this extremely slow method did not last. After absorbing five space beasts and fully transforming them into spirit creatures over the course of twenty-five years, Robin began absorbing larger numbers. Those five spirit creatures had turned his soul domain into an impenetrable, indestructible fortress.

What about the remnants of pollution, grudges, and malicious information that merged with his soul domain?

The Strand of Purifier Spirit takes care of that.

That strand, which he acquired on the Ghost Valley Planet after spending hours tormenting himself and burning his soul domain with Purifier Fire to survive, caused the Purifier Fire to merge with his soul domain, granting him his unique strand.

A strand still remained within the walls of the Soul Domain... and within each of his spirit creatures!

Contamination and filth from the souls of Space Beasts? Those things didn't stand the slightest chance of resistance.

Hmm.

From the other Six Gates, beasts began to emerge one after another—creatures resembling butterflies, eagles, monkeys, and other monsters scattered across the planets of the vast cosmos. All were of similar size, and all exuded a terrifying pressure.

The seven beasts were covered in Robin's White and Gold Soul Robe, emitting lights that illuminated the ocean. Their strength could not be determined at a glance, yet... one could feel just by looking that dealing with them would not be easy!

"....!" Blokan could no longer believe his eyes. "All seven... are Young Space Beasts?!"

He was not the only one watching. The colossal Nest before them observed in astonishment—this was the first time they had seen Space Beasts resembling themselves emerging from such strange portals.

Hmm.

Around them, the Middle Gates began to fluctuate, and then beasts started to emerge from them as well. No two were alike; each was hundreds of meters long, and each had its own presence.

"....Are these Nascent Space Beasts?!" Blokan's mouth fell wide open.

Their number is approximately thirty. Around each young spiritual creature, three or four of the nascent type move around them quietly and expectantly, like moons orbiting planets.

Then, for the third time, a disturbance occurred.

*Huum.*

The minor portals trembled, and something began to emerge from them.

But this time, it wasn't beasts, nor was it lesser spiritual creatures...

They were swords.

Giant swords, each the size of a huge tower. These were a development of the primitive technique that Robin had accidentally created on the back of Jura. They had become strong enough to store a greater number of units within them. Each sword alone was lethal!

Seven hundred swords emerged from those small portals. Every hundred of them went to encircle a young spiritual creature.

Blokan began to look around him in madness...

A young space beast, around it four nascent space beasts, and around them a hundred giant swords, each of which could kill a world calamity.

That formation was capable of facing a Guardian, while their master, Robin, sat back with his hands folded, eating popcorn in the rear.

And there were seven of them.

"..." Blokan slowly turned back towards Robin with a twisted expression.

Is this the power of the Master of the Cosmic Academies?

As for Robin, he raised his hand and pointed forward. "Go on, try a real battlefield this time, and bring me truly young souls."
