Chapter 2264

2264 - The Lord-3

“Shh!!” Glacion ordered Holak to be silent, then looked upward with his mouth slightly agape and his eyes unable to believe what they were seeing, “…..?!”

He too had experienced the strange spatial disturbance that accompanied their transfer—the kind of disturbance that should never occur after the perfect form the Gates had reached under Interas. For a brief and unsettling moment, he even felt that some conspiracy had been plotted to assassinate him in that way, and that the Gate had been deliberately corrupted to send him to his doom.

But after the Gate spat him out and he sensed what was happening around him, the blood froze in his veins...

The laws around and within that planet were extremely chaotic, and everything was operating outside its familiar nature. Even the general perception of the world was distorted in a way that was difficult to describe in words, as if a massive number of conflicting forces were being forced to coexist within a single space. There was even a vortex of laws above, and that vortex was moving back and forth in a strange manner, occasionally stopping as if it was unable to make a decision or unaware of what it should do.

He knew that vortex well—it was a penetration vortex within a dominant domain… but this was the first time he had seen it behave in such an illogical manner, as if it had lost all the rules governing its existence.

And also…

A Scale, a Serpent Eating Its Tail, and a Toothed Gear… These were three known symbols of three Master Laws, symbols that no one with even the slightest knowledge could fail to recognize.

"By the heavens… what is happening here?" Glacion muttered, and the immense pressure on his spirit did not prevent him from speaking, even though he felt as if entire mountains were placed upon his very being.

"Tsk, tsk… that person… always loves to show off…" From behind Glacion came the voice of Holak, who seemed to have finally understood part of what was unfolding before him.

"That person?" Glacion quickly looked behind him, catching the word immediately. "Do you know what's happening?"

Glacion caught sight of Servon on the ground, suffering from internal injuries due to the Gate incident and vomiting blood continuously, but he did not spare him another glance… Servon was already activating Healing Talismans, so he would be fine within a short time.

The important thing was those three symbols!

"I don't know exactly what's happening, but it's undoubtedly The Boss." Holak looked up with confidence. "Those symbols were swirling around him while he fought against the Space Beast Ancestor."

"Swirling around him? Isn't Lord Robin a Truth Chosen? What is he doing with balance, causality, and creation? Just what—"

Glacion paused for a moment, then opened his eyes wide, as if his mind was slow to process the last part of the sentence. "D-did you say he fought against whom?!"

"Hehe." Holak found an opportunity to laugh and didn't let it slip away. "Didn't the Shadow Swords tell you what happened four months ago? Tsk tsk~ It's clear you're such a low-ranking subordinate that telling you or not telling you doesn't matter."

Then he began to advance confidently until he passed Glacion, as if moving through an ordinary stroll, not a place buckling under such terrifying pressure. "And now, excuse me—you stay here and witness The Boss's greatness, while I go see what my mighty men are doing."

Holak felt an intense pressure on his very being, and every step required genuine effort from him, but his anger at the scene before him was far stronger, driving him to move without any noticeable trouble.

They emerged from a Gate located at the edge of the battlefield, a Gate used to transport maintenance personnel, body parts, and debris from the fighting. What he saw before him was about one thousand two hundred space beasts standing still, frozen in a pitiful state of fear.

The massive Gate was still continuously spewing out more beasts. Each time one entered, it was shocked by what was happening and froze in place like a statue. Then one from behind would push it, and the next would enter only to suffer the same shock. Thus, the area around the Gate had turned into an extremely dense mass of confused bodies, and the numbers were still increasing without stop. So many sheep standing waiting to be slaughtered!

Meanwhile, he saw all his followers standing silently, watching the events just like him, staring at what was happening without moving in the way he was used to seeing from them.

How could he not be angry?!

"Hey..." Holak began to stride forcefully, "Wade, Malik, Latania, Derek, Nancy!" Then he started running at full speed, raising his voice until it echoed across the battlefield, "The rest of the Guard's eggs!!"

Then

BOOM

His legs struck the ground, producing a massive explosive sound. The only sound within a radius of hundreds of kilometers, aside from breathing and the faint wind.

Immediately, the Leaders of the five squads and even the rest of the Imperial Guard turned toward Holak, who was descending from above toward the Gate like a meteor, affected by what affected them and suffering from the same pressure, yet moving freely and powerfully as if nothing had happened.

Some of them had already begun to rise and move, and the enthusiasm and fire in their chests finally stirred at the sight of this scene—their leader proving once again why he was the leader, and why he remained at the forefront despite everything.

BOOOOOOOM

Holak landed beside the Gate, the most crowded area, and delivered the strongest punch in his arsenal.

Immediately, one of the beasts' massive heads exploded, then the terrifying force passed through it, pierced the belly of another beast, and continued surging until it struck the ground with a shockwave that knocked down five more beasts with an earthquake-like force, while the effects of the Law of Earthquake spread in every direction.

Only after landing, Holak stood, drenched in black blood, and shouted toward the Guard, "Come and help, you cowards, and strengthen your hearts, or else the next training period will be on the other side of the Gate!!"

"Y-Yes, sir!!"

The enthusiasm and confidence vanished instantly, replaced by fear.

They all know that Holak is capable of carrying out this insane promise without hesitation or mercy. Immediately, every Guard moved, even if crawling, toward the nearest space beast, as if they feared a future worse than the battlefield itself.

Their attack was weak and disorganized, and their techniques came out hesitant and slow compared to their true level, but it was enough. The beasts were still in shock and had not yet moved or comprehended what was happening around them.

“…?!” Glacion was greatly astonished by Holak's scene. He knew well the magnitude of the pressure weighing down on him and the immense strength required just to speak and move. So how could someone in the Martial Emperor range act like this and move with such exaggerated lightness?!

And he was not alone…

The Guard moved and fought after just a little encouragement?

Also… their slow movements and hesitant techniques exposed what they were using against the space beasts…

“Time, space, gravity… this is the fundamental main body Law? And that… it seems like something related to frequencies?” Glacion slowly opened his eyes with each new discovery.

That formation over there is capable of crushing the Endless Chaos Empire alone, without needing help…

Holak was not exaggerating when he said he would bring an army of black wasps!

And also, above all else...

Why are there this many space beasts in the first place, and why are the black wasps fighting them?!

He then looked up again at the symbols for a few moments, but lowered his head slightly toward their center, at the mountain peak, where he could see a person with shimmering golden eyes sitting there with dignity and steadiness amidst all that chaos.

"Lord Robin Burton..." Glacion muttered in a low voice, "What exactly are you hiding here?"

Then he turned and grabbed Servon by the clothes on his back. "Come, it would be improper for me to meet Lord Robin for the first time alone."

"Ugh..."
