*Clamor* *Clamor*
A small human child glanced from the window of a crowded restaurant and began licking his lips.
The restaurant was filled with luxurious tables, where green-skinned people with tentacles protruding from their foreheads sat—entire families with adults and children. It was an upscale place where the vibrations of enchanting music could be heard and the smell of food was masked by the abundance of perfumes.
As for the child, he appeared to be five or six years old, his wide black eyes exuding a terrifying intelligence… but his clothes were tattered and his body looked frail, clearly not one of the wealthy.
That child stared at the food for a few seconds, licked his lips, then began looking around him. "…" Suddenly, a big smile appeared when he saw a green-skinned child hopping near him, a child about his own size.
"Young sir," the human child approached his green counterpart, bowing slightly.
"Hmm?" The child stopped playing. "What do you want, you lowly human?"
"Your father wants you in that alley." The human boy pointed to a dark spot on the side of the restaurant. "They say he's prepared a big meal for you from that fancy restaurant!"
"Really?!" The green child rejoiced and began running over there.
“……” After that, the human child stepped forward with a big smile until the two entered the alley, disappearing from sight.
“Hmm? Where is Father?” The green child began looking around.
“Take off your clothes.”
“What?” The green child quickly looked back in annoyance, then in terror, “You… you, you… do you know who I am?!”
The human was holding a small knife!
“Hurry up!” The small human shouted.
“…Father will not forgive you!” The green child started crying and took off his shirt, then his pants, and even his underwear.
“Heh~” The human boy gestured for his counterpart to leave, “I’ll be inside this restaurant. If your father is a man, bring him and come!”
“You will regret this!” The child began running away naked, crying.
As for the human, he set the broken knife aside and started putting on the new luxurious clothes.
After he finished, adjusted his outfit, and combed his long, soft hair to the side, the human child strode proudly toward the restaurant. *Ring* — he pushed the door open.
“Hmm?” Immediately, the Preparation Manager stood up with a frown, “No pets allowed in the restaurant. Get lost.”
“I am a servant of the Hollenhop family, here to inspect today’s dishes.” The child spoke with a strange pride, “Do you want me to go back and tell them you refused me?”
"Hollenhop Family?" The attendant hesitated for a moment, but when he saw the badge on the child's clothes, he sighed, then irritably opened the inner door.
"Hmm." The human child nodded, then stepped inside with his head held high, as if this place was his natural domain.
He soon reached the vicinity of the kitchen, filled with dangerous butchers and cooks. There, he stood for a few moments, sniffing the delightful aroma wafting from within. *Grrr* He then rubbed his growling stomach and muttered to it, "Not yet." Gathering his courage, he moved forward again until he reached the workers' quarters and entered after noticing no one was there.
There, he searched through the drawers until he found a waiter's uniform. Then, he took out the broken knife and began tearing pieces from it and bending others to roughly match his height. Once more, he made sure his hair was styled the same way, and stepped out with a smile, carrying a random serving tray from the room.
With complete calm, he passed by the kitchen again, reached the trash bin, and began picking out the filthiest scraps, placing them on the serving tray while humming with a grin. Then, he started looking around, studying the place carefully, and finally chose one of the tables with precision.
He closed his eyes for a moment and began muttering as if calculating something, then headed toward the chosen table with a pleasant expression. "Here is your lunch."
"Eww!"
"Ugh!!"
"…?!" While all the members of the small family felt disgusted, The Fat Father stood up slowly and glared at the small human child with anger, "What is this, you worthless thing? Don't you know who I am?!"
"Yes," the young boy nodded firmly, "Aren't you from the Alkhumahu family? The Restaurant Owner said that this level of food is what suits you."
"What?" The Father raised his head and began to shout, "Malan, come here immediately, come and say your opinion of the Alkhumahu family face to face!!"
"…?" Everyone in the restaurant stopped talking, whether guests or workers, all staring at the guest in confusion.
*Thud* Even one of the doors opened, and a green-skinned, broad-shouldered person with a large mustache came out, "What's going on here?"
"What about the Alkhumahu family, Malan? Are you mocking us?" The fat man pointed at the Restaurant Owner, "If you have something to say, say it!"
"Tsk." The Restaurant Owner showed an annoyed expression, "Long-Tongued Second-Grade Family, it's a miracle you came to eat at my place today. What do you want? Why are you raising your voice?"
"You..!?" The fat guest began to tremble, "Have you forgotten the battles between our families after all these years? Do you want them to return to reap more blood?"
"You can't do anything even if you want to." The Restaurant Owner waved.
Then he turned to his side when he caught a new scent… the scent of a human child standing nearby, showing a gentle smile, wearing the restaurant's waiter uniform.
"What are you…?" the restaurant owner muttered, ignoring the customer's screaming.
As for the child, he smiled and pointed toward the door.
*BANG*
"Malan, are you shielding a criminal?!" At that moment, a large man slammed into the restaurant's door, shattering it instantly, and entered alongside a small crying child wrapped in a large piece of clothing.
That child pointed at the human boy and screamed, "There, that's him!!"
"…?!" The large man looked where the child was pointing and found the human boy standing there next to the shop owner, wearing the waiter's uniform.
Rage flared on his face and echoed in his voice, "I'll show you how the Military Families handle things, Malan!!"
"What is happening today?!" The shop owner was nearly losing his mind, especially as that large man approached him. "Just because you're from a military family, you think you can do whatever you want in a restaurant?" Then he pointed at him and shouted, "Get that person out of my sight!"
*BAM*
The waiters, officials, and the Guard went to stop the massive man, and even some of the chefs came out with their cleavers, but stopping that one man was not easy. He had strength like that of horned bears; with a single swing, anyone who approached him would go flying.
"Don't think that insulting the Alkhumahu Family will go unpunished!" the fat man shouted, then slammed his fist into the shop owner's cheek.
*Bam*
"I'll kill you!!"
More chefs came out, and the delivery workers joined the fight. Several other customers from the battles between the Alkhumahu and Malan also jumped into the fray, while the rest fled in panic.
In a matter of seconds, the restaurant turned into a battlefield—either fighters or terrified escapees.
And everyone forgot about a certain human boy, who was not among either group.
