2383 - I understand you!
On the seat Caesar uses to meditate on the brothers, Robin sat without making a sound.
His elbows rested on his knees, staring at the ground in complete stillness, his eyes barely open and unfocused... anyone who hadn't witnessed the scene from the beginning might have thought at first glance he was a statue.
The Northern Region of Nihari.
What are the odds of multiple Master Laws being used there?
Did one of the All-seeing God's enemies try to do something?
...But he found no evidence of interference from anyone at that level—the planet's inhabitants were trash.
Was the All-seeing God marking the planet, for example, or unraveling his enemies' work on it?
...But he said he had been preparing this patch for Renara and Helen long before Robin was even born. Would he go and do something major requiring multiple Master Laws right before arriving at the planet, or while he was on it?
Perhaps he was trying to enlarge the planet or add new properties to it to help his candidate in the future?
...But would that warrant Neri's frightened reaction? That was overblown.
Maybe these were traces of his own laws?
But according to Helen, the Truth leaves no trace, and he hadn't mastered Spacetime during that period—he mastered it later in the Greenland wars.
It is the All-seeing God without a doubt. It is impossible for someone of his level to enter that planet by chance or otherwise—a plan he said he had been preparing for thousands of years.
But what did he do... what exactly did he do?
"...." Robin finally raised his palms and pressed them against the sides of his nose, closing his eyes.
He had no way of knowing.
He no longer had any way to communicate with him.
He had checked—the Soul Shard of the All-seeing God had disappeared from his Soul Domain when the Shackles were broken.
Most likely, he had erased his Spiritual Imprint from the All-seeing God's Seal when he formed his own seals, and thus the *Shard* no longer had a place—it was destroyed automatically along with the Shackles.
Now he had questions, many of them, and the only person who could answer them was no longer there.
"It hurts, doesn't it?"
Robin opened his eye just a little and raised his pupils upward toward the source of the sound... toward Helen.
Who continued speaking, "It hurts to discover that the person who gave you your power is the same person who hurts you, doesn't it? You don't need to answer me... I have experienced it myself."
"...." Robin quietly closed his eye again.
"I can feel what's coursing through your heart right now." Helen continued, "Anger, resentment, the feeling of being foolish and exploited. You want to destroy everything, to prove you're stronger and better than the person who hurt you... but you don't know how."
"....." Robin leaned back to sit comfortably, placing his palms on his knees, then looked toward Helen coldly.
"I can see it in your eyes." Helen continued, "You feel betrayed, exploited. You want to break away, to stand alone and carve your own path. You think of everything that might harm the person who hurt you, even if it means hurting yourself in the process... I understand it well, Robin Burton. I've been in your exact place."
"....." Robin stood quietly and began advancing toward Helen.
"I heard what you did on Planet Jura when you learned what happened to your wife, and based on what was said before me now, this incident is connected to it as well, isn't it? Let me guess—you're now brewing the largest genocide humanity has ever known, or perhaps you're thinking of a way to obstruct everything the All-seeing God has been doing all those years? Thinking of a way to freeze your wife's blood forever? Forgiveness no longer has a place, and only blood dances before your eyes." Then she looked up slowly as Robin approached her, "The question is... will you be able to? Will you be able to break his manipulation of you, or will he keep moving the pieces around you and choke you until he turns you into merely a shadow of what you aspired to be? This..." Then she showed a small smile, "...is what you should seek to find an answer to."
"...." Robin looked down with boredom, Helen's face was directly in front of his stomach.
Then he raised his hand and *smack*
"Ah!" Helen lost a few teeth from the blow; the impact of her forehead against the Coffin is what prevented her from falling off of it.
Then she placed her hand on her cheek and turned toward Robin with a look of grievance, "...?!"
Robin, at this moment, had his hands behind his back, looking away with cold, drowsy eyes.
His breaths were dangerously calm, even his heartbeat was extremely slow, extremely faint, extremely steady.
...utterly terrifying.
"I don't need a whore to tell me how I feel and what I should do." Robin spoke at a slow pace, gazing into the distance, "Once your legs start working, take yourself and go to Hedrick's side, and serve me there as a small, obedient weapon—don't concern yourself with what I decide to do."
Then he turned toward her with his cold eyes, "Everything that happened today before you will stay sealed inside your mouth forever. If a single word leaks out to anyone, I will drag you into an eternal hell I'll craft with my own hands specifically for you. There, even if you wish for death, I'll make sure you never reach it... after that, I'll simply forget you exist."
Then he took an additional step—*hum*—a Golden Gate opened and swallowed him, then closed once more.
"Hah!" Helen finally released a powerful exhale and began gasping for air, one hand on her chest to confirm her heart was still beating, and another trembling over her bleeding mouth from the slap... from the very beginning of the situation to its end, she hadn't taken a single breath.
Even if her body was still healing, her soul remained the soul of a Monarch over the Ashification Law—yet she felt genuine terror from that threat, from that gaze.
