2438 – The Swamp
Middle Sector 113 —
Here is the sector that lies between the Destroyer Galaxy and the Galaxy of the Conqueror, the sector that the Destroyer easily seized in his first advance, where a number of his sons appeared in all the surrounding sectors.
Here Helmor's sons attacked all the Millennial Empires, killed a number of their leaders, and subdued everyone for years with excessive force.
There was no kind of resistance in the sector, there was no war against another Behemoth force… there was nothing but absolute suppression, bullying, and sadistic treatment.
Until Lord Hedrick did it nine years ago and managed to drive Helmor and his forces toward Sector 113, coming from Middle 114.
In news that shook everyone across the universe, Hedrick managed to destroy the foothold of the Behemoth of Destruction, defeated his father and pushed him back, at the same time that a squadron of 1,200 Note of Space-4 fleets struck and besieged the fleets of the Destruction Galaxy, so they all fled.
Helmor and his sons retreated through the Great Space Gates while Hedrick, Helen, and the rest of his subordinates were prevented from catching up to them through the Great Space Gate, *to spare bloodshed and prevent the spread of terrorism.*
Therefore, a temporary peace was struck. Hedrick did not know what he should do.
As a military commander and as an avenger, Hedrick wanted to take his forces and enter the Safe Zone immediately to pursue Helmor and his forces at once.
But he feared something… he feared being pinned down in the Buffer Zone for years, while Helmor used the Great Gates to move toward important regions and strike key points in the Empire. He feared that by the time he emerged, Helmor would have already spread corruption and the war would be over!
But he soon steeled his resolve and entered with all his followers into Sector 113 anyway…
He was already in Sector 114, where there was nothing he could protect, nothing important.
What if Helmor decided to strike Sector 115 or 100 while he sat in place? What could he do even if he knew what was happening?
So failure upon failure, disaster upon disaster, Hedrick decided to occupy 113 as well and push Helmor's forces further back… placing his hope in Theo and the rest of the influential people in the Empire being capable of solving the great problem if it occurred.
And fortunately for him, Helmor remained in place in Middle 113.
First, because he would not achieve any real benefit from attacking any other Sector—destroying a few planets and exposing himself to schemes would gain him nothing—and second, because he could not allow himself to be pushed back any further… So he remained in the Sector, preparing Arrays and war plans for Hedrick.
Hedrick, who rejoiced greatly when he saw those plans and glimpsed those schemes and Arrays immediately upon setting out with his army, began ramming through them directly, destroying anything that stood in his path, and allowed his army to emerge from every crisis and began spreading throughout the Sector, and began seeking help from the locals to assist him.
The locals, who had been subjected to oppression and bullying for years, had their fathers killed and their armies destroyed at the hands of Helmor's sons… but they refused.
Under an official call from the Stellar Academies, the locals of Middle Sector 113 prepared armies and set out to fight Hedrick.
The Academies themselves did not move, but under the banner of repelling evil… they officially mobilized everyone against Hedrick in a scene representing peace and love of good.
Blokan, the CEO of the Cosmic Academies, came out and stated that these forces were moving under the threat of the Hand of Concealment Syndicate, and that the Stellar Academies' announcement was nothing but a cover. They had been threatened with the release of secrets and the assassination of their leaders if they did not move against Hedrick. But not one of them came out to corroborate his words… and thus no one believed Blokan.
Hedrick found himself in a war against the entire Sector, led by Helmor and his army. News reached him that Sector 114 had returned to rebellion without a strong garrison, and the forces had reasserted their independence and began conspiring to prepare an army to fight any enemy that came.
But he paid no attention to what was happening in 114 and continued advancing through the forest of enemies he found himself in… until another piece of news reached him: the Sector 114 Alliance announced they sought to get rid of the evil represented by Robin Burton and his followers, then went with their leaders and squadrons toward Middle Sector 113.
Since entering Middle Sector 113, Hedrick had not been able to fight his father even once. Rather, it could be said that Helmor felt bored and went to Middle 108 to strike Zavarus…
Leaving Hedrick, who found himself in a swamp of danger and death.
Enemies from the front and back, above and below, right and left, like a person who has fallen into a pool of heavy tar and does not know what to do!
Hedrick himself could get out of a crisis easily, but the massive Squadron of Nota and his many minions were now facing nearly 20,000 fleets from The Void!
Instead of focusing on his mission and his passion, Hedrick found himself in a war against locals led by the Stellar Academies, while his father Helmor himself had gone to another sector to take care of another front.
The shameful and tragically laughable thing is that he cannot go after him… he can only stay in place and fight to his last breath, or take his men and retreat once more toward Sector 114 and perhaps to Sector 115, losing everything he had achieved.
